Russo Institute of Technology prepares students for entry into undergraduate study and provides the necessary groundwork for students to be successful in their academic pursuits. Through our association with the University of Southern Queensland students can also accelerate their academic progress through direct entry into the second year of undergraduate study.
Russo Campus
Russo students enjoy studying in a friendly and culturally diverse environment. At Russo, you’ll study alongside students from Australia and over 20 different countries around the world. The Russo Campus is modern, spacious and close to everything you need.
The Location
The Russo campus is located in Brisbane’s city centre. Only minutes away from cafés, shopping malls, entertainment, parks, and libraries, students can spend their free time relaxing in a park, chatting in a café with friends or even shopping. Students also have a range of eating options including Japanese, Turkish, Indian, Helal, Chinese, Italian and, of course, Australian.
The Transport
With such a central location, Russo is one of the most accessible campuses in Australia. Brisbane has an excellent public transport system and trains, buses and ferries are all within 5 minutes walk of the Russo campus.
The Resources
Students have ready access to three separate library facilities. The Russo Library, which has local holdings of books, periodicals, lecture notes and multimedia resources relevant to the Russo Faculties. The Brisbane City Council, which provides students with a comprehensive range of general resources. The State Library, which is Brisbane’s largest public resource library.
The Russo computing facilities, which take up two floors of the Russo Campus, are available to students six days a week. Students have free and unlimited access to the Internet and, upon commencement, receive their own personal email account.
English Language Assistance
Studying in a foreign language is not easy. That’s why Russo has an English Language Support Program. It’s individual time with a teacher, it’s available five days a week and it’s free.
International Student Employment
Having a part-time job can help with the cost of living in Australia and provides students with valuable experience. The Sarina Russo Job Access centres provide international students with personal assistance in obtaining suitable employment. Russo is held in high regard by businesses throughout Brisbane as a source of skilled and reliable personnel.
The International student division equips students with the resources and skills needed to find employment in Australia through:

- access to the “On-Line-Jobs” computer
- individual programs to assists a student’s development
